Goal of this festival
The goal of this festival is to enhance the cultural, educational and
economic vitality of the regions it serves, while providing filmmakers
around the world a dynamic forum for their creative works. This
festival is a showcase and competition of independent feature length
and short films, with a special focus on digital film processing. The
festival honors a diverse body of emerging and established talent,
including student filmmakers and cutting edge independents.
Destination Manteca, California U.S.A.
Located in the heart of the
Central Valley of California, Manteca is the crossroads of California—no
matter from which direction you are coming—north, south, east or
west. Located near Yosemite National Park, the Historic Gold Country,
San Francisco, and the Wine Country, you can easily combine business
and pleasure when you participate in the Delta Film Festival.
Awards
All entries submitted to the Delta
Film Festival are selected through a jury process prior to the
Festival. A panel of jurists comprised of filmmakers and cinema/media
professionals, as well as film fans, will award the following: Best
Feature, Best Documentary, Best Short, Best Animation, and Best
