Multiple competition winner Michelle Xiao You has been featured as a soloist with some of the finest symphony orchestras in the world. She has been featured soloist with the Houston Symphony, BBC Northern Symphony of Great Britain, the National Orchestra of China, and many others. In the Central Valley she has soloed with the Sacramento Philharmonic, Camellia Symphony, and Auburn Symphony. A native of Shanghai, China, Ms. You began study with her father and continued study at the Beijing Conservatory. In the USA she studied with Dorothy DeLay and Kurt Sassmanshaus at the Univ. of Cincinnati. In Sacramento she continues her work as a concert violinist and teacher. She has presented concert recitals in the USA, China and Europe to rave reviews.
