Delicato Vineyards is holding its 20^th Annual Photography Show from Wednesday, June 1 through Saturday, June 25, 2016. Competition is open to entries by amateur and professional photographers, which will be judged jointly. There will be more than $1,000 in cash and gift card awards presented to the winners for their original photographs in the following categories:

Applications are available in the Tasting Room and on the website: www.dfvtastingroom.com Five pieces per photographer may be mailed or brought in with the entry fee to the Delicato Tasting Room between Saturday, May 14 and Thursday, May 26. The public is invited to attend the awards ceremony on Saturday, June 25 at 4:00 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres will be available at 3:00 p.m.

Judging the show this year is Dean Taylor, an active member of the Stockton Camera Club. He purchased his first 35mm film camera in late 1970 and joined various camera clubs during the 1980’s. The majority of his photographic knowledge has come from participating in several workshops, attending camera club meetings, and learning from judges’ critiques.

His experience as a photography judge includes judging for numerous camera clubs, county fairs, photography shows, fine-art gallery shows, and various photographic societies. Over the last forty-five years Mr. Taylor’s passion for photography has led him on many photographic adventures including traveling for a month in Italy, three adventure trips to India and extensive travel throughout the United States.

From June 1 through June 25, the public is invited to view the judged and accepted photographs while sipping the newest wine releases. Delicato Vineyards is located on Highway 99, four miles north of Manteca. Open seven days/week, the Tasting Room will display the photographs from 9 a.m. to 530 p.m. Wine tasting and viewing are complimentary.
